Heating and Air Conditioning
Main Floor and Loft Heading and A/C
The main floor (living room and bedrooms) and the loft have individual mini-split units with both heating and air conditioning.
Note: All units must be set to the same mode (either ‘heating’ or ‘cooling’). If one unit is on a different mode an error will appear on all units. Setting the units to the same mode will correct the error and the units will operate.
Wall mounted remotes: Each unit has its own remote that controls heating or cooling. There is a remote for the living room, each bedroom and the loft.
Heating
- Turn on power by pressing the Orange Power button on the top left
- Press the Mode button located next to the power button until “Heat” appears in the remote’s screen
- Use the Up and Down Arrows under the Mode button to adjust the temperature
Cooling
- Turn on power by pressing the Orange Power button on the
- Press the Mode button located next to the power button until “Cool” appears in the remote’s screen
- Use the Up and Down Arrows under the Mode button to adjust the temperature
Down Stairs and Garage Heating
The down stairs and garage operate on forced heat. There is no air conditioning due to the naturally cool air even in the summer. There are four thermostats downstairs, located in the garage, laundry room, bathroom and bedroom.
- To turn on heat, rotate nob to the right
- The farther the dial is turned to the right, the warmer the air
- The Comfort Zone in the middle is typically the range guests prefer in the winter
- To reduce the heat, turn the nob to the left
- To turn off heat, turn the nob all the way left until it stops
